These commitments include local needs as well as those throughout the United States and the world. Several adult and youth members have answered the call to mission in China, Africa, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Honduras. Music Ministry The adult choir is a volunteer group and requires no audition or formal musical training to join. This group of dedicated individuals leads our 10:30 service in a variety of joyful and reverent music under the direction of our accomplished organist and choirmaster. Everyone wears red and enjoys a great time of food and fellowship. Prayer Ministry Teams are available to give prayer support in the Chapel after the 10:30 AM worship service on Sundays. St. Michael's Medieval Faire In the fall month of September, we have begun the tradition of an annual Medieval Faire. This is our gift of Christian fun and fellowship to the community of Lake Charles, and many work hard all year to prepare for this event. Wonderful meat pies and dishes are prepared and sold along with a variety of "Medieval" crafts and wares. Many dress in Medieval costumes and stroll along the grounds. Music and a variety of entertainment abound for all ages! Money earned from the Faire go to fund various church projects and for Missions.
