Welcome to St. Michaels!

In Holy Scripture, ANGELS are messengers of God's revelation to His people. This parish seeks to fulfill this role in reaching out to our visitors and to the community of Lake Charles.

The mission of this parish is to welcome everyone into the Christian fellowship and to obey Christ's commands: make disciples, baptize, heal the sick, and teach the Gospel--through love, worship, prayer, and Christian service.

Service Schedule

Sunday:
Holy Eucharist: 8:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 5:00 p.m.
Christian Education: Adult and Youth - 9:15 a.m.
Breakfast: Following 8:00 a.m. service
   Prepared by the men of the church

A nursery is available on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

Wednesday:
Holy Eucharist: 10:15 a.m.

Beginning Sunday, Aug. 1: An eight-part teaching series on Tom Smail's book, Like Father, Like Son: The Trinity Imaged in Our Humanity
For Sunday, Aug. 1, Sermon Topic #1: False Images of Man Stem from a False Image of God. Then Discussion opportunity will be provided
on the Wednesday following each of the Sundays at 10:45 a.m. or 6 p.m. Discussion opportunity will also be provided during Adult Sunday
School following each topic, i.e. starting August 8 at 9:15 a.m.
