Karen Richards, Rector's Assistant & Church Receptionist
Karen Richards is a cradle Anglican, baptized in Harare, Zimbabwe and confirmed at St Thomas’ Anglican Church, Durban, South Africa.
Karen is originally from South Africa where she has lived most of her life; having also lived and worked in the United Kingdom. Lake Charles and St Michael & All Angels is her new home. Karen has a Bachelor's degree in History and Politics; a diploma in Organizational Management both from the University of Cape Town and of recent a certificate endorsed by the American Marketing Association in Digital Marketing. She has worked in Public Relations and Communications most of her career. She is married and the proud mother of two sons. |

Susan Arrington, Music Liturgist & Organist
Susan Arrington currently serves as the Organist and Liturgist at St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church. She graduated from McNeese with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and studied the organ with Dr. Fred Sahlmann. Susie started playing the organ at age 13, her mother having also played the organ. Susie has played for numerous Lake Charles churches and taught piano for over 40 years. She came to St. Michaels over 7 years ago and often admits this changed her life! Susie has two grown daughters and one adorable grandson.

Camryn Clements, Choir Director
Camryn Clements is from Lake Charles, LA with a degree in Music Education from McNeese State University. She spent 2 years of undergraduate study at Centenary College of Louisiana where she toured and performed with the Centenary College Choir at Carnegie Hall, across the US, and South America. She has a passion for teaching music and is a former middle school choir teacher of Shreveport, Bossier, and Lake Charles. Over the years, Camryn has served as Choir Director and professional vocalist for various churches and programs across Louisiana.
Nick Parsons, Sexton
Nick Parsons is from Sulphur, Louisiana and married to Alicia. Together they have three children: Gabriel, Mykala, and Josie. Nick grew up at St. Michael’s and has many fond memories of his childhood - spending time with his mom and dad, helping his dad maintain the campus, and being involved in youth group.
Nick has a real passion for helping others, which led him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015. Nick currently works full-time as a product manager for a health IT company, but is especially grateful for the opportunity to serve his church as the Sexton. Nick also helps with the audio-visual ministry, making it possible for anyone, anytime, to tune in to St. Michael and All Angels’ services. |
